Cleveland CG12 Wedges Review
The Cleveland CG12 Wedge. Starting in the low $100, this wedge handles so well that anyone of any skill level can use the CG12. There are three great looking finishes to choose from: Chrome, Black Pearl, and an oil coated finish that slowly rusts for added texture and reduced glare, otherwise known as the RTG+ finish, available on the DSG model only. And, each wedge offers many loft and angle options. The CG12 Chrome Wedge has lofts from 46 to 60 degrees and angles from 4 to 14 degrees. The CG12 Black Pearl Wedge's lofts go from 46 to 64 degrees, while their angles go from 4 to 14 degrees. Now, the CG12 DSG Wedge has 6 bounce angle and loft degree combinations: 10 and 52, 12 and 54, 14 and 56, 10 and 58, 3 and 60, and lastly, 3 and 64.
Of course, all three golf wedges include some of the best technology Cleveland has to offer. First, there is the Zip Groove technology. These grooves are milled larger and deeper than traditional grooves, and this gives a better spin and longer distance control. Now, something special to just the CG12 DSG Wedge is the Dynamic Sole Grind. This technology allows the leading edge to stay closer to the ground, and since it is combined with Zip Groove technology, the CG12 DSG Wedge brings a high, soft shot. Once you have the CG12 Wedge in your hands, you will wonder how you ever golfed without one.
